Glamour: Alexandra Burke took to the stage in Birmingham last night in a Gladiator-inspired dress
She is well known for her up tempo pop songs and hi energy dance routines.
So it understandable the Alexandra Burke would opt for some onstage outfits that allow for some movement.
But the singer has taken the idea to the next level, taking to the stage in Birmingham last night in a shredded, ticker-tape style dress.
The former X Factor winner is currently on her first UK tour, and has rocked audiences in cities including Glasgow, Bristol, Cardiff and Nottingham.
Last night it was Birmingham's turn for the All Night Long tour and Alexandra appeared to pull out all the stops.
Going all out: The singer is in the middle of her first UK tour
After the show the excited 22-year-old took to Twitter to show her gratitude for the overwhelming response.
'Birmingham! Are u for real? U guys rocked my life !!!!!!!! #Nowords. - Thank u all so much,' she tweeted.
She added: 'I don't want this tour to end. Like seriously. Love my life - I love it more then I have ever done before!'
The white and silver studded gown is designed by Melissa Odabash, who has styled all of the outfits for the tour.
Alexandra later changed into an unusual skimpy leotard with cutaway panels and diamanté detailing to belt out some of her biggest hits including Bad Boys, Broken Heels, Start Without You and the most recent single The Silence.
In addition to the tour, the busy star has campaigning for Save The Children's new project, No Child Born To Die.
Ticker-tape inspired: The Melissa Odabash- designed dress left plenty of room for energetic dance routines
She spoke out recently about her visits to Haiti following last year's devastating earthquake, and her plans to return again next month after her tour is completed.
Speaking at the campaign launch last week, Alexandra told how she held a dying baby in her arms while visiting the devastated country.
‘It was heartbreaking to hold this tiny malnourished baby,’ she said.
‘He was really underweight and the doctors were saying he was going to die without any food.
‘Women were giving birth to babies on the floor, in markets, in homes which were nothing more than a tent or even just a sheet.
Doing good: The singer is also busy campaigning for Save The Children and is planning to return to Haiti next month where she plans to open a school
