Watch out! Karen Gillan - as Amy Pond - swings through a pirate ship knocking one man down as she filmed scenes for the upcoming Doctor Who seriesIt must be great fun to be Doctor Who's companion.
Because not only do you get to whizz through space and time in his trusted Tardis, but you also get to battle with all sort of villainous aliens and monsters.
But coming face-to-face with a group of pirates aboard their ship proved to be a new challenge for Amy Pond - and one she appears to have risen to magnificently.
Actress Karen Gillan - who plays the Eleventh Doctor's assistant Amy - was snapped swinging on a rope through a pirate ship last night, knocking down one of the scurvy dogs in the process.
She then came face to face with three other rum-drinking thieves of the ocean as she swung towards them but had her sword to hand as she headed their way.
The scenes, that were shot last night in Charleston, Cornwall, will be for one of the episodes of the new series which begins in the spring.

Yesterday we saw Karen, 23, practicing her sword moves on board the ship before she got to test them out last night.
Matt Smith, who plays the new Doctor, was also snapped on board the pirate ship set last night.
One onlooker shot a video of Smith, 28, walking the plank suggesting that the Doctor gets himself into another sticky situation.

'The bit where she runs and knocks everyone over is meant to be for a rope swing.'
The scenes are part of a new episode of series six, to be shown this Spring, in which the Doctor, played by Matt Smith, 28, and Amy come across pirates on another one of their adventures through time.
