Dirndl girl: Kim Kardashian donned a traditional German dirndl dress for a visit to Oktoberfest todayShe's been sampling the local culture during her trip to Europe, and a visit to Germany at this time of year would not be complete without a swig of ale.
And Kim Kardashian proved what a good sport she is by dressing up in traditional garb for her trip to the annual Oktoberfest in Munich.
The 29-year-old star was very excited about her outfit, too, posting a picture of herself in the beforehand on Twitter with the caption: 'Off to Oktoberfest in my new dirndl!'
Posing up: Kim posed in the purple and red outfit, complete with her customary sky-high heels, inside the Hippodrom tent at TheresienwieseAnd, as well as matching her make-up to the purple and gold dress, complete with white floaty shirt top, reality TV star Kim even put her hair back in two pigtail plaits to make her outfit as authentic as possible.
But, ever the celebrity, Kim also accessorised her outfit with a trademark pair of sky-high heels.
Kim's mother Kris Jenner, who has been travelling with her famous daughter around Europe, also got in on the action as well by wearing a green and black dirndl.
During their time at Oktoberfest, the pair indulged in some local beer, pretzels, meats and ice-creams before posing for photographers inside the Hippodrom tent at Theresienwiese.

She wrote: 'I love Germany, its Vonderfull here! I love z apple strudel.'
Kim has been travelling around Europe promoting her family's reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians with her mother Kris Jenner.
As well a stop in Milan, Kim and Kris have also stopped in London and Paris, where they made a quick trip to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa.

Ready to go: Kim posted a picture of herself in the traditional outfit on Twitter before she left for the eventThe newly-single socialite also tried her luck at golfing in Paris, but maybe didn't get the golfing attire quite right as she took to the course in a miniskirt and four-inch heels.
Posting a picture of herself playing golf on her official blog, Kim told fans: 'LOL! OK, so maybe 4-inch heels aren’t the best golfing shoes… but it was the best I could do at the time and it totally didn’t affect my golfing skills! LOL.'
It was recently revealed that Kim and Dallas Cowboys player Miles Austin had called an end to their relationship after three months because they couldn't handle a long-distance relationship.
A source told People.com: 'There's no huge reason except their distance apart. With his season and Kim's filming of Keeping Up with the Kardashians it just slowly split them apart.'
